Daniel "D10" Cappellaro
“D10” is Daniel Cappellaro. A Street Footballer, Futsal Player and Coach who specialises in technical skills, 1v1 moves and tricks. He has traveled to various parts of the world promoting football brands and playing football and futbol sala, or Futsal as it’s now more commonly known.
The sport of Futsal and Street Football has taken Daniel around the world, with overseas trips to Holland, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Tunisia, the USA, Scotland, England and Poland, playing in the UEFA Futsal Champions League. These experiences have been the highlights of his international career. Gaining this experience has proven to be invaluable, as his skills and technical ability were immortalised by EA Sports. A likeness of Daniel, known as “D10”, became an unlockable character in the popular video game FIFA STREET, released in 2012.
Daniel has also represented and helped found Western Australia’s most successful Futsal club Cambio Cumbre. Other highlights include AFA Australian Men’s team selection and representing Western Australia at the FFA Nationals. On the East coast of Australia, Daniel played for Melbourne Futsal Club (powered by Melbourne City Football Club), Balwyn Futsal Club and Pascoe Vale Futsal Club, in Victoria’s and Futsal Oz’s prestigious Series Futsal Victoria.
Various appearances on television, at expo shows, in magazines and due to the popularity of Instagram and Youtube, have caused the nickname “D10” to stick.
