The start of this year has been nothing short of eventful. I say eventful, because all of the other describing words such as crazy, whack, turbulent etc have been used. I have also seen the phrase “a complete write off” on occasion. There has been ups and downs for everyone, it’s a trying time and one filled with a lot of unknown. However, being ever optimistic as I am, I feel there will be a lot of good come from these moments, “light at the end of the tunnel” as it has been said previously.

Again time has eluded me, weeks have past and I have not been able to make a blog post. When I say “not been able” I don’t say this flippantly. September became a time of preparation, as I knew I was heading to Spain at the end of the month, and would be there for the better part of October. As preparation continued, the month only got busier, with work for the A-League launch, Rebel Sport, lots of training, coaching and a number of new and exciting opportunities came into the picture. This was all before we had even stepped foot in Barcelona.

Where has the year gone? Allow me to apologise for the less than regular weekly updates on this Blog. I have been flat out with travel to Cairns, Brazil, event, playing, coaching, new opportunities and my next moves. A big thank you to everyone who continues to follow through Instagram and the other various social media channels.
